Badiadka, 15.05.2019: Jackfruit camp is being organised to support all time fodder supply for the Bajakudlu Amritadhara Goushala, which is run under the Kamadugha project guided by SriSamsthana. With the slogan “Grow jackfruit, Save cows”, the jackfruit camp is organised on June 8th at Badiadka Shree Bharathi Vidyapeetha in joint association of Mulleriya Havyaka Mandala, Amritadhara Goushala Bajakudlu Perla and Mahilodaya Badiadka. A preparatory meeting was held at ‘Sitalakshmi’ house of Shyam Bhat Berkadavu at Bolukatte, Badiadka. The meeting began with shankhanaada, guruvandana and gouvandana. Prof. Srikrishna Bhat presided the meeting and Sri Shivaprasad Varmudi gave the introductory speech and the details of how to make the event successful. Havyaka Mahamandala’s president Smt. Eshwari Berkadavu organised the meeting. Mandala secretary Balasubrahmanya Bhat Sarpamale gave suggestions about the responsibilities of various valayas. Dr. Y. V. Krishnamurthy informed about the preparations of the event. The various uses of jackfruit, training, traditional and modern food items of jackfruit like jackfruit manchuri, noodles, ice-cream, dhal biscuit, buns, jackfruit saplings of various breeds, machineries shall be demonstrated and sold at the event. Jackfruit food items of various valayas from Kodagu to Kasargod shall be available at the event. Mandala woman wing chief Kusuma Permukha, Devaki Panne, Keshavaprasad Edakkana, Govinda Ballamoole, valaya office bearers and Mahilodaya office bearers actively participated in the meeting. Mandala Vidyarthi Vahini head Keshavaprasad Edakkana gave the overview. The meeting concluded with shanti mantra and shankhanaada.
