One day a child asked his father how much money he earned in an hour. The father did not reply. When the child repeated the question the father said that he earned five hundred rupees per hour. The child asked the father to give him three hundred rupees. The father became angry and refused to give the money. The child requested for the money several times and the father finally yielded and handed over the amount.
The child ran into his room. The father followed him. He was surprised to see his child taking out 200 rupees from under his bed. The father asked him,
“When you have money, why did you ask for more from me?”
The child handed over five hundred rupees to his father and said,
“Papa, I wish to give you an hour’s salary. Can you please come home early and spend that time with me.” The father realised his mistake.
We need to keep aside some time for family and gain peace of mind and happiness.
