Bengaluru: The souvenir ‘Sanmangala’ comprising of the details of Mangala Gou Yatra was released on 01.12.2018, at SriRamashrama, Girinagar.
The Gou Yatras were the foremost amongst the many important programs that were planned by SriSamsthana for the sake of conservation of desi cow breeds. The ‘Mangala Gou Yatra’ which was a reminiscent of the first ever battle of independence started by Mangal Pandey for the sake of Gou, travelled around the state from November 2016 to January 2017, was completed with Mahamangala in the prosperous land of Mangaluru from January 27 to 29 in 2017. To keep alive the memories of this Yatra permanently, the souvenir ‘Sanmangala’ was released by SriSamsthana.
The chief editor of the souvenir Vidwan Jagadisha Sharma, advertisement co-ordinator Dr. Rajesh Padekallu, the directors of Mangala Gou Yatra and Mahamangala committees were present during this occasion.
