Once a mother pulled out the tiny plants which were growing in small pots and replanted them in a spacious garden. The child who was watching this asked the mother-
“Ma, why do you remove these plants and relocate them in a huge unfamiliar garden?”
The mother replied-
“Child, if the plant continues to live in the small pot, it will not grow big and strong. If I remove it from there and replant in a spacious garden and provide water, soil and manure, it will grow big and healthy and yield plenty of flowers.”
If we wish to lead a fruitful life, we need to move out of our small world into the larger world of opportunities and risks. We cannot be like the frog in the well. We should not hesitate to make a few sacrifices in order to achieve great things. Sometimes even death may yield great reward in form of a superior birth.
