Bengaluru: School day was celebrated at Shree Bharathi Vidyalaya, Hampinagar which is being run under the divine guidance of H.H. Srimajjagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Mahaswamiji.
The event was inaugurated by Guruvandana. Educationalist Dr. Wooday P. Krishna arrived at the event and praised the the divine vision of His Holiness, the loyalty of teachers and talent of the students. He also gave advice to parents.
Sri Gopalakrishna Hegde, the president of the governing council, welcomed the guests and presented the annual school report.
Sri Pramod Pandit, the secretary, offered greetings to the audience.
Small kids rendered the prayer songs.
Theme based entertainment programmes:
Kids presented various shows related to Indian festivals. There was a short skit on Yugadi and a dance for Bendre’s Yugadi song. A dance on Krishna Janmashtami was performed and there were presentations displayed in the school premises about the celebration and importance of festivals.
Shree Bharathi Vidyalaya proved that we can provide entertainment with the flavour of ourness.
