Vitla: The shashtama vardantyutsava of pratishtha brahmakalasha took place on Saturday under the guidance if SriSamsthana of SriMatha in Kalladka Gerukatte SriUmaShiva kshetra.
Vedamurthy Sri Shankaranarayana Bhat addressed the gathering about the importance of Annasantarpane in the history of the temple where hordes of devotees used to visit the same. Every seva partaken with the emotion of bhakthi is equivalent in the eyes of Lord.

 

Sri Govinda Bhat Ballamoole, head of Ullekha vibhaag, havyaka mahamandala presided over the function and spoke about the necessity of participation of youth and children in spiritual celebrations to enhance their morals and for a bright future.

 

Sri Ramaiah Shetty Sampila, an ex service man was the guest of honour and said, a soldier and a farmer protect the country and prayed the divine to protect these two.

 

Seva samiti guest of honour Sri C. V. Gopalakrishna, Smt. Mallika. G. Bhat head of Mushtibhiksha of havyaka mahamandala and Kalladka havyaka valaya president Sri U. S. Chandrashekhar Bhat Nekkidaravu were present for the function.

 

Tribute to the martyred jawans:
A tribute ) was payed to the martyred jawans in Kashmir due to terrorist attack by observing silence on the same occasion.

 

Seva samiti president Rakodi Sri Ishwar Bhat welcomed and addressed by announcing a personal one months salary as a donation to the soldiers relief fund and announced about donation from swasahaya sangha, Sri Umashiva Kshetra. He requested everyone to donate towards Mangaladhama being built nearby.

 

Navaka pratishte, Shatarudra japa:
Under the guidance of mangaluru havyaka mandala head, Vedamurthy Amai Shivaprasad Bhat; punyahavaachana, Ganapathi havana, Navaka pratishte, Shatarudra japa, Naga Rakteshwari tambila, Kumkumarchane, nlNavaka kalashabhisheka, mahapuja were conducted. Later annasantarpane, Yakshagana talamaddale were also conducted.

 

Seva samiti secretary Sri K. T. Ganesha, treasurer Sri N. S. Srikanth, samiti member Sri Yatin Kumar Yeltar, Sri Shyam Bhat Panjigadde, Sri Adkattimaru Ramachandra Bhat, Sri Nekraje Ishwar Bhat were present for the function.

 

Vitla havyaka valaya treasurer Sri Muralikrishna Kukkila was the master of ceremony. Kum. Manasa Nekraje sang the prayer while president of kepu havyaka valaya Sri Janardhana Bhat Amayi gave the vote of thanks.
