The first stage of the last goal of every life salvation is Satsanga. Which other day is more suitable for Satsanga than the great day of Ekadashi! A unique Satsanga called ‘Ramapada’ which was inclusive of words praising Rama beautifully sewed in Raaga (tune) which spreads the fragrance of devotion, was blessed by SriSamsthana to us during every peak time of Ekadashi. This Satsanga called Ramapada was organised by the Kalaraama department of Shasanatantra.
This unique Ramapada programme started on the Ramanavami of Hemalamba samvatsara (04.04.2017) at the Pradhana Matha in Hosanagara.
This was a rare opportunity for both professionals and amateur budding artists to serve with Bhajans and present their art at Rama’s feet and get a sight of Rama in their inner conscious through their art. This distinctive stage was a medium to exhibit India’s most celebrated devotional music and literature from Sadashiva Brahmendra, Purandaradasa, Tyagaraja, Kanakadasa, Basaveshwara, Tulasi Das, Soor Das, Tukarama, Meera, Bhadraachalarama Dasa, Saint Shishunaala Sharif and many other Dasa literature, vachanas which were sung with utmost devotion.
