Mooruru: Children’s Day was celebrated at Pragati Vidyalaya, Mooruru on November 14th with zeal and enthusiasm.
Different activities of sports and variety of cultural activities were organised to celebrate Children’s Day. Headmaster of the school, Sri M. G. Bhat presided over the program. He appealed to the students to imbibe in them the internal beauty of humane values than to concentrate on external beauty; he called for them to achieve great feat by attaining all round development in studies through developing values in life.
SSLC students were presented mementos in remembrance of the school. Sri Lokesh Hegde hosted the program. Welcome speech was rendered by Sri G. R. Naik. Vote of thanks was given by Sri Manohar Harikantra. Distribution of sweets to students marked the end of the program.
