Sagara: Valayotsava of the east and west valaya of Sagara town was celebrated on Saturday, November 17th.
The programme was inaugurated at 8.30 a.m. through lighting lamp and guruvandana.
Later, SriDevi parayana, mass Satyanarayana pooja sankalpa, kumkumarchane by women, bhajana Ramayana, chanting of Rudra were held.
Vidya sahayanidhi was doled out to students by Sagara mandala during the formal function held in the afternoon. Gopooja and Kartika deepotsava were the attractions of the evening.
