Once a child asked its mother, “Ma, why a few strands of your hair have turned grey?”
The Mother replied, “For each mistake you committed, a hair of mine turned grey.”
The child innocently asked the mother, “Oh, granny’s entire hair has turned grey! Is it because of all the mistakes you committed?”
The mother realised that she had not answered the child’s question properly.
Children are like a wet wall which absorbs everything that is splashed on it. Therefore, one has to be careful while answering their questions. Children also absorb our actions and conduct, therefore, we also have to be careful of the way we behave in front of them.
